As an integrative-relational therapist, I draw on a variety of different therapeutic approaches in my work with clients. This will depend on what may best suit an individual’s needs and circumstances.
Working relationally with warmth, compassion and trust, is at the heart of my practice. Relational theory focuses on achieving empowerment and growth through working closely with one another.
A collaborative relationship between the therapist and the client supports the process of self understanding enabling clients to move forward with their lives and reach greater acceptance of themselves and others.
Having a space to focus solely on you and your needs with an experienced professional can help you to find a way through what is going on for you. I am dedicated to offering a supportive, encouraging and confidential space to be yourself and work through what you wish to focus on.
I work with people from all walks of life and backgrounds, coming to me for a range of problems. Whatever your concern or issue, through sharing yourself, your worries, your fears and your feelings, we can begin to explore exactly what is happening, why this is happening and how you might be able to move forward.
I am committed to equality, diversity and inclusion and welcome people from all cultures, religions, ethnicities, sexualities and neurodivergence.
Counselling takes place in a safe space, where you can meet with someone who will listen with sensitivity and empathy - and without judgement. In the therapy space thoughts and feelings can be expressed freely and in confidence.
Trouble with a relationship; anxiety or panic attacks; mood swings or depression - many people face difficulties in their everyday lives that can be hard to get on top of. Counselling gives us a set of tools we can use to help gain a better understanding of what’s causing these problems - and how you can move towards managing or resolving them.
Working together I can help you gain greater insight into the difficulties you are facing, help you understand why you act or react to them the way you do, and see how you can start to make better, heathier choices moving forward.
